As many parents are so accustomed to dropping the children off at school for 5-8 hours a day, schools are now closed due to the pandemic (COVID-19). Most middle and elementary (and private) schools are participating in virtual learning and have assignments, morning meetings and must log in to the computer daily. What about our elementary babies? Should our children’s learning just stop?! Absolutely not! I decided to give you a lesson plan to help struggling readers or children beginning to read.
